Abstract

Objective  To explore the clinical therapeutic effect of comprehensive reha-bilitation combined with mecobalamin in patients with neurogenic bladder of diabetes.

Methods  The patients with neurogenic bladder of diabetes who were admitted to Shulan (Hangzhou) Hospital from January 2021 to September 2022 were selected. The patients were divided into experimental group and control group according to random number table. The patients of control group were treated with methylcobalamin, while the patients in the experimental group were treated with comprehensive rehabilitation combined with methylcobalamin. The treatment efficacy, bladder function before and after treatment, psychological status [self rating depression scale (SDS), self rating anxiety scale (SAS)] scores, quality of life scores, and treatment satisfaction between two groups of patients were compared.

Results  There was no statistically significant difference in the total ef-fective rate between two groups (P>0.05), but the clinical efficacy of the experimental group was better than that of the control group (P<0.05). After treatment, the SAS score, SDS score and residual urine volume of both groups decreased compared to before (P<0.01), while the average urine flow, role function score, social function score, physical function score, and psychological function score of both groups increased compared to before (P<0.01). The above indicators of the experimental group were significantly better than those of the control group (P<0.01).  Conclusion  Comprehensive rehabilitation combined with mecobalamin has better efficacy in treating neurogenic bladder patients with diabetes, which can improve bladder function, reduce negative emotions, improve quality of life.
