Chinese Journal of Pharmacoepidemiology is an academic journal in the field of pharmacy and pharmacoepidemiology, which is directed by Hubei Provincial Drug Administration and jointly sponsored by Hubei Institute for Drug Control, Chinese Pharmaceutical Association and Zhongnan Hospital of Wuhan University. It is indexed as the Core Journal in Chinese science and technology field, and as a statistical source journal of Chinese scientific and technical papers. The journal has been included by International Pharmaceutical Abstracts, American Chemical Abstracts (CA), WHO Western Pacific Region Index Medicus and other famous international retrieval organizations. It has been awarded as "Hubei Medical Excellent Journal" and "Hubei Medical High-quality Journal" for several consecutive years.

Chinese Journal of Pharmacoepidemiology, founded in 1992, is the first academic journal publicly issued in China and Asia on the emerging interdisciplinary subject of pharmacoepidemiology. Since its inception, it has been dedicated to tracking the frontiers of pharmacology and pharmacoepidemiology, grasping the pulse of the discipline's development, timely and accurately reporting the latest developments and achievements of the discipline at home and abroad, and providing comprehensive information on the scientific research, production, use and management of medicine. The main columns of the journal include: commentaries, expert perspective, reviews, articles (primary research, secondary research, methodological research), guidelines and consensus, practice and communication (case reports, case studies), etc. Comments, expert ideas and reviews are invited contributions. For guidelines and consensus, it is recommended to contact our journal at the beginning of their development so that they can be published quickly after they are completed. Our journal also offers occasional columns focusing on the latest research spotlights in pharmacoepidemiology, and we welcome interested experts and scholars to contact our editorial office.

The editorial board of the journal is composed of experts in clinical medicine, pharmacy, pharmacology, epidemiology, health economics, statistics and other disciplines from all over the country and overseas, with high academic authority and a reasonable age distribution and balanced geographical distribution, reflecting a wide range of representation. The editor-in-chief of the journal is Professor Zhan Siyan, the expert in epidemiology, Professor Zhai Suodi, the expert in clinical pharmacy, and Professor Xin Huawen, the expert in clinical pharmacology. At the same time, the editorial department of the journal, as the secretariat of the Professional Committee of Pharmacoepidemiology of the Chinese Pharmaceutical Society, accepts the guidance of the committee and participates in various academic activities sponsored by the committee. Under the correct leadership of the editorial board and the editor-in-chief, the academic quality and the quality of editing and publication of the journal have been continuously improved, and it has become an authoritative journal in this field of pharmacoepidemiology in China.
