Clinical pharmacists participated in the treatment process of a patient with schizo-phrenia and gestational diabetes mellitus. Combined with the patient’s previous disease history, medication history and family history, the pharmacologic factors that may lead to hyperglycemia were analyzed, medication education and pharmaceutical care were carried out, reasonable suggestions were put forward, and good treatment effect was achieved. Through the pharmaceutical care of this case, clinical pharmacists play the advantages of pharmaceutical specialty, so that patients can get more professional medical services, and play the role of a bridge between doctors and patients, im-prove the status of clinical pharmacists in the medical team.
