Objective To evaluate the comprehensive effects of rosuvastatin combined with cardiac rehabilitation on lipid metabolism, cardiac function, inflammatory response, and quality of life in patients with coronary heart disease (CHD).
Methods CHD patients admitted to Huzhou First People's Hospital from January 2024 to August 2025 were selected and divided into an observation group (rosuvastatin + cardiac rehabilitation + conventional treatment) and a control group (rosuvastatin + conventional treatment) based on treatment protocols. Serum lipid profiles [TC, TG, LDL-C, HDL-C, and Lp(a)], cardiac function parameters (LVEF, LVEDD, SV, and E/A ratio), inflammatory markers (hs-CRP and NLR), myocardial injury biomarkers (cTnI and CK-MB), and quality of life scores (SF-36) were compared between the two groups before and after a 12-week intervention. Clinical efficacy and the incidence of adverse reactions were also recorded.
Results Before treatment, there were no significant differences in any parameters between the two groups (P>0.05). After 12 weeks of treatment, the total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was higher than that in the control group (94.87% vs. 79.22%, P<0.05). Furthermore, the levels of TC, TG, LDL-C, hs-CRP, NLR, cTnI, and LVEDD were all significantly reduced compared to baseline in both groups; however, only the levels of Lp(a) and CK-MB were significantly decreased in the observation group compared to baseline, while HDL-C, LVEF, SV, the E/A ratio, and SF-36 scores in all domains increased significantly (all P<0.05). Notably, the observation group showed significantly greater improvements in all aforementioned indicators compared to the control group (all P<0.05). There was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups (7.69% vs. 10.39%, P>0.05).
Conclusion Rosuvastatin combined with cardiac rehabilitation can multidimensionally improve lipid metabolism, cardiac function, inflammatory status, and quality of life in CHD patients while reducing the risk of myocardial injury. This model demonstrates significant clinical efficacy and favorable safety, warranting standardized promotion.
